Gelato Fino - Alvor

Lovely gelato. Many unusual flavours and hand made. Very friendly owners. We tried a different flavour most nights on the walk back to apartment after dinner. Best gelato in Alvor.

Rather than buy a desert each night we have been getting a gelato/ice cream. The lemon ice cream is the best I have ever tasted and my wife raves about several of the other flavours in particular the lime and mint. They also seem to come up with new flavours frequently but please don't remove the lemon. The cost for 2 scoops is 2.70 Euros or for my 3 scoops 3.70. I have also started visiting twice a day it's that good. Apparently the ice cream is made locally. Incidentally they are open until 12 midnight.

The better half had a quick look in here , whilst I was at the bank across the road, looks very nice but not much choice came the reply Ginger and Coconut looks the best flavor, but I don`t like coconut !!! We had a meal and then came back and boy are we glad we did. A quick taser of the coconut and and ginger and it was a 100% yes. Tried this with banana and chocolate. I had a Cherry and Chocolate two scoop cone. The flavors are immense and intense!!! With it being Gelato and not ice cream it is also very light and a great way to finish off a meal. We sat outside and enticed a few couples in.....they were not disappointed. The place only has limited choice but due to the sheer quality of the ones available this is not a problem at all!! Also very clean with a lovely lady serving, if you are in Alvor and miss this, you have truly missed an epic taste sensation.!!

Ok it's not the creamiest ice cream, but the flavours pack a punch, you will not get better in Alvor Well worth going out of your way for, I need to go on a diet, I've been every day

This is our favorite ice cream place in Alvor. Homemade, fresh and interesting flavours, delicious lactose free options. The kids beg us to go almost every day even sometimes in the winter, though they are closed at that time of year.
