The Daily Special Cafe - Alvarado

Absolutely love this little café!!! My husband and I are eating lunch here. The food is from the charts yummy!!! The lady she leads alone is great! Enough to try again. Oh, we had a burger, club-sammel, catfish and the huge chicken-fried steak. All very delicious!!!! Thanks to them for service and good food!!!

The first time! Morning from the Wels Special on Fridays. Delicious! The okra side was also cooked for perfection. We're coming back! Even with today's gas prices, the drive is worthwhile.

At 9:15 or so Sunday AM with spouse for breakfast and place was not crowded. Yes. No stands, less than 25 tables only feel in the small restaurant with disc Americana. We sat and the lonely waitress greeted us in time. Coffee came and we were disappointed to find that there are no real half-and-half and no sucralose/yellow sweetener packages. Eggs and omelet were good, served on plastic plates, domestic frits were covered with peppers and onions, an involuntary surprise. Since the place was filled more with regular guests and locals, we were delighted with the attentive coffee service. Really 3 and 1/2 stars, but was really very nice price and will probably return for lunch or dinner.

I was just there once and had breakfast. It was delicious!! The staff was polite. Food was hot when it was served!!

It was my 1st time there but it was great place. The food came quick and I ate every bit. Now I got to skip dinner or change my waist size.
