Chicken Express - Alvarado

Food was great! Spicy tenders were fresher than usual, which was great. the guy working the counter was strange and the TV was playing Regular Show a bit too loud but it wasn't a big deal.

Well this Chicken Express has joined the ranks of the rest of the lousy fast food joints in Alvarado. Disorganized, not having what you want, not getting what you ordered and breaking promises.Asked for 8 piece family meal. Asked for all dark, again no legs and only 7 thighs, ended up with a wing because no breasts either. Comes with a family side, I asked for mashed potatoes and an extra side of potatoes. Only got one, didn't get charged for two but still. Didn't get the half dozen rolls that were supposed to be with the order.Disorganized as in the lack of mixed chicken pieces during dinner hours but had a full tray of chicken tenders that I am sure were being overcooked because the pieces were so close to the warming lights.Broken Promise, didn't get the military discount because the cashier couldn't get a manager to put in a code.If didn't have two bags of ice melting in the truck I would have waited.The excuse of not enough staff? I counted 8 stumbling and bumping into each other. Should have recorded for the laugh later.Sigh, Alvarado is so full of this type of food service it's getting harder to find a place in town.

Ordered online. Order was correct and ready before I arrived. Great service.

Too over priced now. Use to be cheaper. Now it's like paying for the name. It seems like it is taking longer and longer to get the food..not

Jesse and rose helped us out wonderfully they were very nice quick and friendly service. I will be back again.
