Beautiful little caffe in booths themselves. good quality eating at a really good price. For example, English breakfast, Greek salad and a big teekanne for 2 £11 do not tell everyone, although the personal is new and train, so be friendly:

Quality range of products and that's reflected in the prices. Good layout. You'll see items here that other supermarkets don't stock. Car parking is free.

Nice enough toasted sandwich in the cafe. Alas, they had a reduced service which meant limited menu. This meant they couldn't serve chips, which was mightily weird since they served them 20 feet away on the takeaway counter.

This is a treasure of a shop, high end deli crossed with Waitrose. Superb quality and great breadth of choice from local independent Northern suppliers. If you need some specific unusual ingredient chances are you'll find it here.
