Texas Roadhouse - Altoona

Worst experience I have ever had a Texas Roadhouse in my life. Salad came with a bug and when I said send this sh*t back the only thing the manager cares about what me cursing. This place is garbage we waited an hour to get our food. I would personally avoid this place for atleast a few months.

This place is always good. Good food, staff is always very friendly. There was a birthday at the table next to us and we got to see someone go in the saddle. I do not think I have ever had anything bad here. They did run out of my beer of choice, but I am not picky. This is a good place to take the family or relax with a group of friends.

Meal was as always good but service was not. Server was very rushed. I did not get a refill until I was done with my meal. He was not the one to bring us our meal, and when we got it he rushed by in asking how the food was. I know how to be a server and have managed a restaurant. Our neighboring tables server was awesome. I actually thought about tipping him. His name is Floyd. Hes great! not ours unfortunately. Again meal was awesome!!! Compliments to the cooks.

We have Roadhouse restaurants in Texas so we decided we wanted a good steak for supper. The young man that waited on us was by far the best we had on our entire 13 day trip. He was helpful, friendly, attentive and just made our visit very enjoyable. The food was excellent. Our visit was well worth the stop in Altoona.

Great atmosphere and wonderful food! last three times we've went, had to wait half the meal for the steaks to be cooked right but still delicious. On the weekend be prepared for an hour wait for a table, definitely use the online waitlist.
