We were in there for the first time and were very stubborn. Just put cards on the table. We have carved with pommes and got carved with thick panad and with cartilage inside. Find it a pity. Please fix and often just smile. That brings a lot. Ambience is very beautiful.

Traditional gastronomy with simple and always the same food as in almost all other gastronomy around the Kapellplatz. For quality too easy, too expensive. I had a baked carving with cranberries and fries like a salad. Culinary not really outstanding but lack of alternative, and my hope that you can't do much wrong with it, first of all the right choice. For me. However, it was different to pan the carving too thick, simply fried sweetly, the pommes ok and as a refined sauce berries aud the can and tomato ketchup in packed portion. This seems to be enough to satisfy the tourists. I think you can eat better in Altöttingen.

Rustic Bavarian cuisine, friendly staff and moderate prices. Unfortunately not very well visited when we were here (see photo)

We were already a little later(13.30am) for lunch at Scharnagl. The food was tastefully good(meat nice soft), also rich....sufficient only lukewarm! Salad (market salad) was somewhat disappointing...only leaf salad and a column tomato!! The prices were o.k.! The service was friendly!
