Hotel-Restaurant-Pfefferhohe - Alsfeld

Unexpected really good restaurant on the side of the highway. The cook mixed the flavors in a way you wouldn't think of. Very delicious, great vegetarian offer. I come back to this special hotel only for the restaurant.

The hotel is located near the highway no. 5, but it is not loud, at the same time it is also very close to the beautiful village of Alsfeld. Rooms are comfortable and clean, with a balcony. A buffet breakfast is available for every taste. I really appreciated the presence of an espresso machine in the room instead of the usual water heater with powder coffee... great! The food in the restaurant is good, I would suggest tasting the curry soup. The staff is professional and friendly. The Wifi is free and the signal is good in the entire structure, the only minus, even if not so large, is that the login data expires after 8 hours and every time new ones are needed to receive. Large parking right in front of the hotel.

This review is easy. The rooms are modern, clean and well dimensioned. The larger rooms have balconies. Wifi is free and fast. I thought it was as good as your own internet connection by a service provider. Breakfast is free and included. You will receive your personal spread of meat, cheese, rolls, coffee or tea. It was wonderful. The price is very fair. Stay here and do yourself a favor.

The hotel is not on the Trip Advisor list, only the restaurant; but we were positively surprised by the very fine service at the hotel when we arrived at midnight, because after several hundred kilometers we bind on the highway. In addition, we have an excellent service in the breakfast restaurant next morning. A very nice experience in a hotel where the guest only has a bed for a quick nap.

As most Autobahn restaurants are nowadays really horrible in Germany, this is just 2min drive off and serves really good food, their prices are also reasonable. Their 11.70€ schnitzel was many times more delicious than anything You can get from Serways. Service was really old-school German.
