Oak Steakhouse Atlanta - Alpharetta

The restaurant is quite dark and the background music is a bit too loud for my liking. We started with the fried chicken as an appetizer, which was incredibly juicy and delicious. The collard greens were also surprisingly tasty, even for someone who doesn't usually enjoy vegetables. I couldn't find a drink on the menu that I liked, so I asked the waiter to make me a pineapple upside down cocktail, which was strong and satisfying. My friends shared a tomahawk steak, which was a bit too fatty for my taste, but they enjoyed it. I opted for the bone-in rib eye, which was good but needed a bit more seasoning. I need to figure out whether I prefer wet-aged or dry-aged steaks in the future. For dessert, I had sorbet while the others had chocolate cake that was a bit dry. Overall, Oak Steakhouse is a great spot for steaks and I will definitely be returning in the future.

I chose Oak steakhouse to celebrate my birthday and was not disappointed. The atmosphere was great and the restaurant smelled amazing as soon as we walked in. We ordered two appetizers - the pork belly and the reds - both of which were delicious. Everyone's steaks were cooked perfectly to their liking. My duck fat poached lobster tail was incredibly soft and flavorful. The cocktails were also very good, and I received a birthday espresso mousse cake. Make sure to make a reservation ahead of time as they can get busy. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning.

Went for a birthday and the waiter made the birthday very special with a dessert and candle.

Great celebritory dinner at Oak Steakhouse in Avalon last night.The hostess,our server Mo,the bartender and the general manager were all exceptional.Our service was attentive and well paced.The food quality was great and a big shout out to the young woman who made an exceptional birthday platter for my husband!We look forward to our next night out at Oak.
