The Jerai Alor Setar

Felt dismayed when i went there just now. Truly wanted to stay here but from the front door to the front counter, no staffs to be seen at all. Only saw the name of the manager on duty is liyana. Waited around the counter for few minutes just in case, and saw one staff coming and going into a room near the counter. Assuming that staff will attend to me (my fault for assuming), so again waited there for couple of minutes. But then saw the same staff going out from the room, ignoring us, without saying anything, or gesturing anything like helloooooo???? Are we not customers waiting for services????? I feel not welcomed and just went out from there. Truly disappointed. My previous stay is nice so i was expecting the same but alas.

My stay was OK. Room wasn't clean. Smelly bedsheets. Dirty bathroom. Water clogged in bathroom. Smelly smell around the room. Theres no ventilation. Breakfast spread was good. Varities of food. Parking very big space. No worries for parking.

Love the shower and breakfast...the water pressure was good and the breakfast has many variety of choices and it was tasty...the staff was very kind too...not far from city...the room was spacious but a bit outdated...can be improve in future...

Our room has that old room smell unfortunately. Food at breakfast is moderate(not even average). Location is good and got lots of parking for your car. Hotel is situated within two mosques so non-muslims might be uncomfortable because you will be awaken by the azan in the morning.

The rooms are a bit dated but very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast is good with local and western dishes. Great location.
