The pizza is unquestionably the best around. I have lived in many areas and had Detroit, Chicago, NY and other 'famous ' pizzas. However Pizza Sam keeps it simple, fresh, and consistent every time and it is the best hands- down. The owner and his wife are always there working hard and friendly as well. Give this local landmark your business, you will be happy.

We enjoy Pizza Sam’s pizza, our usual is the Sam’s Special w/o anchovies. Miss eating inside, but the pizza “to go” even warmed up is excellent. We live 25 miles away. We recommend Pizza Sam’s great food and service.

Some of the best pizza you’ll ever have!!! We are new-ish to town and have not had the pleasure of dining in since they’re carry out only now, but really hope to get the full experience some day soon!

Baked in spices, pepperoni…Side of blue cheese dressing. Perfecto! (Amazing pizza is still great since I had my first slice in 1974. Always worth the drive from East Grand Rapids. Glad the family is continuing Sam’s tradition-minus Sam’s “soup nazi” attitude. Over all those years we never dined in so not missing that.
