Bidrage med feedbackGreat food always whether you are there for breakfast or lunch and great friendly service. A lovely place to visit
During our first visit to charming Cockermouth, we decided to have lunch while visiting Wordsworth's House. We saw two women walking up a narrow alley across the street with a sign for a cafe and decided to follow them. The cafe turned out to be a cozy and welcoming spot. We enjoyed delicious homemade chunky vegetable soups and sandwiches, with a good selection of options to choose from. We were also pleased to learn that they support fundraising for the RNLI. We will definitely be returning in the future.
I had a wonderful lunch today at this charming cafe tucked away on a side street off the main road. I would have missed it if not for finding it on trip advisor beforehand. The outdoor terrace was lovely to sit on while enjoying a delicious all-day breakfast for a great price of £10.50, which even included tea and toast. It's a steal these days! The service was quick and friendly, and I will definitely be returning to try the tempting selection of cakes they have available.
This place is hidden off the main street so it's easy to miss. Oldy worldy tearoom with traditional menu. I had ham, eggs and chips. The chips were frozen and ham was processed but it was still nice. Friendly service, cheap prices.
Great food, plenty of choice, friendly staff and a little outside play area for toddlers... Just perfect.
