Pinocchio Gelateria - Alicante

Not sure how it is as a bar but as a ice cream/crepe place it was average if not comical. I had a Nutella banana coconut pancake. Nutella was overwhelming but couldn’t taste the coconut and only a couple of banana slices. My son ordered a Pinocchio ice cream and.. well.. judge for yourself. I felt like I was on an episode of « nailed it ». At least it made us laugh

Right in the middle of a vibrant area. Seated outside watching the hustle and bustle. Good cocktails, especially the expresso martinis. Nice friendly staff. Decent value for money. Had a lovely time

My twin brother Stephen and I were pub and bar hopping around the eclectic Centro District when we chanced upon Pinocchio Bar and what a great find. A very cool looking bar ,great decor and furnishings,an eye catching serving bar,big screens to enjoy the sport and lots of seating options both inside and outside looking out onto the wonderful busy streets around this bar. We sat outside were we ordered bottles of Heineken beer,these were served freezing cold,we kicked back,chilled out and took in the great bar we were in. A big fan of this famous Dutch beer ,it's such a light,hoppy and unpretentious lager style beer ,perfect for the hot climate out here on the Costa Blanca ,when served iced cold and sparkling as in this bar it's such a refreshing beer indeed. We really enjoyed our beers before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit to Pinocchio Bar we had a great time. Pinocchio Bar is easy to locate along Calle De Los Castanos,a street and area teeming with pubs,bars and restaurants. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday,open from 8.30am till very late . Well worth checking out out if you're in the area.
