3. oktober 2012....we searched for a good place for a late lunch. my friend wanted lobster and the staff was very accommodating. they brought out 4 or 5 different lobster dicks, so my friend would look at her and give her the price for... each one said so that she knew exactly what she got. she asked for a baked kartoffel instead of rice and it was no problem at all. the food came with a nice meal. my friend was very happy with her meal and the lobster was perfectly cooked. I had Steak-Tampiquena with enchiladas, rice, drilling, cactus. delicious! steak was very humid and delicate. we sat outside so we could watch the people at lunch. the restaurant is air conditioned. our meal was $64 usd including bottled water and diet coke. tipp was included on the bill.

Eating was good and not too expensive, we were in a hurry to catch a bus and they pulled the stops to accommodate us. we had also made our photo and were offered a quarter tequilla bottle with the photo on it for...200 pesos. it was so sticky that we had to have it, although he tried to say that the restaurant would get the 200 pesos, but that was all he got.

Keep away from this terrible place. they tried to cheat us on the exchange rate. we went here because first drink was free; not worth it; margarita tasted like water w/ sugar mixed ice cream. a type came after we had ordered our food as if we made pictures for the restaurant. he came back with our pictures that were plastered on a quarter bottle and beat it for 20 US dollars, which was for one! our total bill was 247 in US equivalent, but they tried to calculate us 269. the excuse of the waiter: I'm sorry that our system has problems. her system has certain problems great time. no wonder that the place was empty on a Saturday night, except our party. we should have seen the signs. we went the last night to la sirena and aldea half price and much better place.

Only stopped here tonight as I had injured my shoulder and did not physically feel up to exploring further options. BIG mistake. Food is ok but VERY overpriced. Some of the waiters are super pushy and off-putting but for us there were two gems/highlights: 1)...Random female member of staff slouching in the corner looking miserable and very concerned with getting signal for her mobile phone, holding it up in all kinds of random positions throughout our meal. 2) An overbearing guy telling us he was taking photos for the restaurant website (this is pretty common in London so we didn't think much of it) Only for him to hang around towards the end of the meal, producing a tacky bottle of tequila with our photo on the label. Had he been honest from the start I would not have minded really but the creepy underhand tactics sum this place up. Also, as we predicted the 241 cocktails are a joke since they charge double in the first place. Definitely a low point in our trip, go elsewhere!

Sobre la quinta avenida, lugar pequeño pero bien puesto, con buena iluminación. dependiendo la hora hay happy hour en tragos.
