Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant has a lively atmosphere and serves tasty food. Be sure to request a table in the enclosed patio area to admire the charming exposed brick walls and vintage decor. While the prices are a bit higher, the quality of the food makes it worth it. Don't miss out on the melted jack cheese appetizer, it's a must-try!
The restaurant is located on a quiet street in Old Town. Each space within the restaurant offers a unique ambiance and feeling. The room we dined in had romantic lighting and brick walls that gave off a sense of historical nostalgia. Although the menu has limited options, we enjoyed our meal. We recommend trying the steak frites and cast iron shrimp with a side of spinach. The pork ribs are flavorful but come with a generous portion size. Some diners mentioned that their dishes could use a bit more seasoning, but overall everyone seemed satisfied. Just be careful not to eat too many honey biscuits, as they are incredibly tasty. My husband, a beer enthusiast, was pleased with the variety of craft beers available. We will definitely return for a beer and a quick bite to eat. #fallynsfoodieexcursions #columbiafirehouse
I had a fantastic brunch at the historic Fire Station in Alexandria. Although it was a bit expensive, the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying the hash. They also offer bottomless coffee, which is a bonus. We showed up without a reservation, but luckily, unlike most other popular spots in town, it wasn't necessary. They also have a great variety of beers to choose from.
I was pretty disappointed in the experience overall. I felt the food was not worth the price. My husband and I had the three course Valentine’s Day. The tomato bisque I had would have been good as a pasta sauce, the chicken entree was a little over done and the sauce was a bit much. I wished the chicken came with some kind of starch to balance out the rich flavor. The desert was overly sour and the cake was hard. The service was poor. Our server was friendly, but there were multiple people bringing us food, and they brought us the wrong table’s food more then once. I gave this place 3 stars because my husband did enjoy his food, and we still had a nice time. I think if the food wasn’t priced so high, I would have lowered my standards.
Went on Valentines Day and they had a limited menu. I ordered the Pork chop and it was great. My Husband ordered the surf and turf the steak wasn’t seasoned and the crab cake wasn’t either. However, the customer service, drinks and ambiance were great!
