Bidrage med feedbackI’m giving this restaurant a 1-star review because I had to rate it between 1 and 5. I ordered two of the largest seafood plates and 5 lbs of boudin. I had tried the boudin when they first opened, and it was pretty good back then. Unfortunately, the seafood this time was terrible. The fish was overcooked and resembled a mushy fish stock—no texture at all. The crust was thick and hard, and some of the fish had dark, slimy spots. The shrimp and other seafood were so over-fried that even my dog wouldn’t eat them. Everything tasted bland and similar. The boudin tasted like boxed dirty rice, and the chewing gum was awful. It felt like all the food had been frozen before serving. I ended up throwing most of it away or giving it to the dog. My teenage son only ate the shrimp and nothing else. I’m really disappointed—what a waste of money!
The Fried Seafood Cellar is incredible—the best seafood I've ever had! The boudin is fantastic, and the staff took excellent care of my wife and me. We were celebrating our anniversary and wanted to enjoy authentic Cajun cuisine. Kudos to the chef for an outstanding experience!
Best boudin I've ever had, and the boudin balls are huge! You definitely get your money's worth there!
