Lou Laura's - Alexandria

I go there several times a week. NO More!!! The food is great, though high, but every single time the price is different!!! Same order most of the time and a big price difference!!! Never once was it below the me ue lrice but almost every day its more by a littke or a whole lot. Im not ever going back!!!

Ac wasn't working, food was sopping with old, burnt grease, and the prices were not posted anywhere. Server was OK, and the catfish poboy was decently fried, if underseasoned.

Original poboy??? What a lie. The original poboy was founded in New Orleans 1929 street car strike. How does this place get away with lying about a historical piece of Louisiana history. Check your facts people.

I had a hanker 'n for a Po 'boy as I passed through Louisiana. So I swung in to Lou Laura 's Home of the Original Po 'boy . Well. It was accidental that I stopped there since Id actually came via my maps app to visit the Po 'boy shop next door. I decided, lets give Lou Laura a shot and see what they were rocking in the form of a Shrimp Po 'boy. Well, it was perfectly loaded with fresh veggies, crispy fried shrimp and tasty mayo sauce on a hoagie roll. It was quite good. The young fella at the counter was quite pleasant also. Great place. Give Lou Laura 's a try.
