Ihop - Alexandria

My girl and I ordered this morning and our orders were probably the best breakfast we were? ve had in awhile! I have the breakfast sampler, that was nothing short of excellent!!! It was delivered beautiful and hot and in excellent packaging.

Service was good, but they didn't have all the different syrups they usually have on the table:

Must have been my lucky day because there was NOBODY in the entire restaurant. This meant a fast accurate service. And the food and the service were top notch.

This Father's Day was planned to be with my mother, and today was the perfect day for it. When we showed up, the restaurant was pretty crowded. There was no waiting, but one of the employees tried to sit at one when their very small tables did not happen. Fortunately, we could get one of the few available medium-sized tables. Our server came quite fast, and I just ordered the classic burger with bacon board. The plate comes with fries I eat. My mother has the bacon temptation Alllet. This has hickory smoke bacon, cheddar cheese, tomatoes and white cheese sauce. The burger is fresh, but it's nothing big for you. The Pommes were just as good. My mother reported that the Alllet was a bit dry, but the bacon definitely made the Alllet. Our server was super superior to how busy it is here today. All in all, it was a good experience.

My son and I love to eat at this IHOP location when I am in town. Their omelets are delicious and we always leave happy. The portions are large (which is hard to.find sometimes at a diner in DC). The staff is so friendly and attentive as well.
