Puro Sabor - Alcoutim

We popped in for lunch. All wholesome stuff. Gospel on the telly and no alcohol. Upon closer inspection, Christian fish symbol in the café 's logo. Nice, clean and modern place on the waterfront. Good home cooking: hamburgers, freshly-squeezed juices, toasted sandwiches and the like. Also a good range of specials. One of these, the day we visited, was francesinha. This is a complex Portuguese sandwich, with layers of chorizo (choriçou), steak and cured ham in sliced bread, covered in a sauce. Well worth trying. We also had a plate of chips and soup of the day, which was cream of vegetable. Tasted like old cabbage to me but my wife liked it. This was washed down with fresh fruit juice, in the absence of any wine or beer. Special juice of the day was lemon, pineapple and mint. Very nice. Almost as good as wine! To finish up we shared a piece of chocolate and carrot cake, which was delicious, washed down with cups of coffee. Bill came to 21.80 €. The young man running the place is very pleasant, patient and helpful. Can’t really grumble, except for no alcohol anywhere, I suppose. But I 'll live. There are bars selling beer round the corner.

Beautiful Toasties and fresh juices on offer here. Simple Breakfasts , cakes, coffee etc. Very clean establishment with nice views overlooking harbour. Friendly service.

We had delicious natural juices, a super super tasty bowl of açaí, vege soups and a burger with bun choice of different colors great fun for my son They even have vegetarian burgers. Everything was great. We even came back one more time the same day, and will go again for more açaí bowls

Absolutely stunning juices. Stopped for a quick drink on the way back to the car, looking for Coke etc but we had the fresh juices. They were amazing, great flavours, creative, great price. We didn't eat but again food looked fantastic. Bought a bottle of juice to keep us going. Lovely bar, really friendly service, couldn't ask for more.

We had our morning coffee there and were so happy with the friendly service and quality of coffee and fresh orange juice and fresh fruit granisados, that we came back for lunch. Lovely burgers, salads and sandwiches... and custard tarts! Very good value for money
