Muxagata Gelados Artesanais - Alcoutim

Ordered a scoop of gelato in a cone. I was served the cone and a half scoop, if that, of gelato. Very disappointing for a place that used to have the best gelato in Tavira.

Vegan, lactose free ice cream. Select flavours. The After Eight is what they say it is. The strawberry cake could be anything. One excellent.

Tavira is a beautiful old (500 years in 2020) town, with lots of great places to see and restaurants to eat at. But my major reason to go there is to have an ice cream at Muxagata kiosk in the park. Some unusual flavours on top of all the normal stuff, and they are all DELICIOUS and fairly priced at 2€/scoop. I love Santini in Greater Lisbon, but if Muxagata had a shop somewhere around Lisbon, that would be my #1
