Billesley Manor - Alcester

We were looking forward to our stay and we were not disappointed, the dinner in the evening was a high point of our stay, we have all published in the beautiful environment.

Taliatelle tasty, but pasta overcooked. after ordering one of only three desserts in the offer we were told that they had sold out. opting to go to bar for liqueur coffee instead and ordering Caribbean coffee from the menu was said “we do not” said it was on the menu was said that the menu has to be from the date....really? went on to receive on the way out to ask for a feedback form that we have to be by email or on the website. I will be informed staff and one can not keep doing what promised to be a beautiful birthday contract

The service was lovely and the staff very very welcoming and friendly. There did seem to be a bit of a wait initially but then it flowed well. My partner ordered the Rabbit to start but he was not impressed after the first mouthful. I tried it too and to be honest it was bland and looked very unappealing. It really didn’t taste great at all. My starter was tasty but only like warm which was a shame. The atmosphere was slightly overshadowed later with a large party but other than that a lovely evening.

Dinner in the restaurant was very good with v pleasant staff, however the breakfast along the lines of self service was rather disappointing. It lacked flair and individuality to distinguish it from cheaper hotels .

We had a 3.30 a.m. booking for Sunday dinner, but lunch finished at 2 a.m.! It appears online booking nit differentiate but the staff was fantastic. We could have access to the whole lunch menu, if there is no Cremé brûlée left! The food was fresh and beautifully served and the staff stood on the ball again. Well done.
