Mahoney's - Alburnett

We've been coming here 33 years for the great broasted chicken.

Stopped in for lunch. Their menu consists of broasted chicken, tenderloin or loose meat sandwich. I opted for the special of the day which was hot tenderloin sandwich wow, that took a lot of thinking . It was just alright, the tenderloin was fresh but on a stale bun with mix gravy and instant potatoes. I might come back if I am stuck in the town and dying from hunger. Two stars because the waitress was nice. When your the only place to eat in a town of this size, I guess you can get away with that.

Good people and food. Drinks added up, but was fairly priced.
