Bidrage med feedbackAte here in a small group on a Sunday afternoon, around 3pm. We must have visited on an bad day or at an unfortunate time. Good things: friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, pretty patio, tasty pupusas and fired yucca. Disappointments: Chicharones cameburned beyond being edible (quickly replaced with a tasty version). Every dish was small, nowhere near enough for an adultlunch, which was a surprise given their prices. Food took an hour to arrive. We ordered, were asked for payment, paid, andwere then told that the wait would be at least 20 mins. There were 6?9 people in the restaurant other than us, so we figured thewait couldn't be *much* longer than 20 mins. Maybe there were unexpected problems in the kitchen. Given all the very positivereviews, we might try again, but our first impression wasn't good.
Very beautiful little eatery! Did not expect to see ?Salvadoran Food? at this cool little scenic place called ?Gobble This. Walking by, I enjoyed all the old architecture/decor, and the plants everywhere. I love the indoor/outdoor vibe of having theplace flow from front to back. There was quite a line, and a wait, so will stop by for food another time, so for now 5 stars forambiance and uniqueness! Hope to eat here soon enough?
This place is a mess. They open and close as they please making it impossible to plan a trip there. Tried going 3 times. First couple of times their info on Google said open but there was no one there. Third time, info said they were open but they refusedto let me in due to a private event despite people sitting inside who were not part of the event. Messy and unprofessional.
We really enjoyed our meal. Chef Nestor is the best. We had the tacos and puspusa! We especially love the changing menu. The old Adobe building and patio are a beautiful!
Gobble This is a treasure here in our land of enchantment! Every time I visit, I leave with a full heart and belly. The food is phenomenal and the cafe has a beautiful, relaxed vibe. Old Town?s best kept secret! Side note: Don?t be scared off by thenegative reviews. Tourists like to trash the way business owners do things around here. (Old town buildings are ancient andrequiere intense upkeep, facilities aren?t for public use!
