Le Petit Nicois - Albufeira

Friendly cafe bar, nice burgers, very clean, and great value for money. A nice pint for €1.50, and the food is freshly prepared!

They only had 2 menus, so we had to wait for other customers to finish with them. When we finally got them, we then had to wait to be served. Just as we were giving up, the waitress came. But as she left with the order a customer lit a cigarette at the next table. Since we had already had to move to avoid a smoker, and since the waitress had stopped to chat to another customer before actually taking our order, we gave up and left. Very French...

Have been here a few times during my holiday. What 's great is the owner, of which they 're two, Pascale Dominique. They jokingly argue who the boss is but what 's clear is, they make a great team.. always happy and smiling, they immediately make you feel welcome at home. All customers know them by name which is testament to their joy at you being here at their cafe. The food is great and refreshingly so when you consider what 's around. Petitts Nicois makes a statement, When you join us for food or wine, it 's our pleasure to share with you a cafe experience that is different to those around us....enjoy our company and our food . I am from Ireland, not related, and so happy to advise anyone to rest here in Cafe Nicois, feel welcome, perhaps make an acquaintance but most definitely add a new enjoyable piece to the jigsaw puzzle of your visit to Albufeira and more so Portugal. Try the House wines... the red in particular.... it 's Portuguese and wonderful. French run cafe, Portuguese house wine....Europe is alive and well and to be enjoyed here in Le Petitts Nicois

We were greeted in a very friendly and welcoming way here. The staff were very attentive without being overzealous or in your face. The food was freshly prepared and the beer was nice and cold. Clean and welcoming, just off the main thoroughfare but worth the diversion. Parking available!
