Cafe Las Banderas - Albatera

I’m glad I didn’t look at some of the most recent reviews before visiting las banderas or I would not have gone, but let me dispel some of those comments based on our experience. We sat outside and were quickly served by a charming young lady. Our drinks arrived in just a few minutes along with a mixed salad which was the first part of the menu of the day. For starters my wife had calamares a la romana and I had calamar a la plancha, with a really good salsa verde. The squid was fresh not frozen and was well cooked. Main course was pork tenderloin for my wife and oxtail for me, followed by the usual choice of desserts and coffee. A drink was included and all together it was terrific value for money at just 8e each! I would have happily paid that for the squid alone. So for a cheap lunch it’s hard to beat and we will definitely going again.

Hemos probado una variedad de entrantes para compartir y luego unos deliciosos callos que estaban muy buenos. No hemos tomado solo cafés o infusiones. El servicio fue excelente y la relación calidad-precio muy buena. ¡Recomendado para salir del apuro!
