Bidrage med feedbackI chose the Provence for my birthday dinner and for our last eve for one because of the currnet public health we face. the restaurant has taken all the precautions to ensure that we were safe. our waiting staff was fantastic. eating was of course amazing. I started with a chopin martini filled with blue cheese olive. I had the grilled kalbslaunenhacker with hearty ingwerbread strata and truffle wild mushroom ragout special (coupled with a glass marie antoinette Pouilly-Fuisse) for my entre and the homard crepe as appetizer. I had dessert since it was a special occasion. the chocolate marquis paired with a double espresso. the Provence has always been one of my "gates in restaurants, as I know that eating, service and ambiente will never be disappointed.
There was a recent turnover of employees, but the Provence remains one of our favorite places to eat in albany.
Good bistro food and on a Sunday night, acceptable quiet. very friendly server. no tablecloth, a zinc topped table that could be a problem for keimophobe
Every bartender who makes me a delicious French 75?with quality, flowers gin makes the experience unforgettable! I loved it!
It was yummy and Jamie was attentive with good service
