Maggies Cafe - Albany

We always enjoy eating at Maggie's. Update, bad news Maggie's fans. The restaurant has been sold was in the newspaper the other day, I do not recall what is moving into that location no wait now that I think about it it was what by the owner of Ted's fish fry although they did not say it would become a fish fry it's possible that they will branch out. My family wishes Maggie well hope she enjoys her retirement and we will miss seeing her and eating at her restaurant.

Hope in the wall dive bar. There was only one server there including being the bar tender so service was a little slow bit polite. The food was great. Came because of a Groupon but probably not somewhere we would go back to. Seemed to be a great place for an older local crowd.

I did really enjoy their spinach artichoke dip but I understand why it's not for everyone. There's a generous helping of blue cheese on top, which is personally my favorite but my party had some disagreements to this. The rice the lemon chicken was served over was either very salty or perhaps the lemon sauce was very salty. My party also ordered the buffalo chicken as a wrap and a sandwich and both seemed happy with their orders.

This is an amazing family restaurant. The staff and food are exceptional. The owners are wonderful people. You must try the Maggie dish. One thing worth noting is that if you don't see something on the menu, the kitchen staff will accommodate your preferences in how your dish is prepared. Not many places offer this level of flexibility. The food is top-notch and uses fresh ingredients. Don't miss out on this fantastic dining experience.

We had a fantastic lunch today with a burger and BBQ chicken wings! My wife enjoyed a delicious Caesar salad. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be returning!
