Horseshoe Grill Family - Albany

A 'down to earth ' place where I had terrific fried pickles and some of the best fried catfish. Plus, the waitress was friendly and helpful. What it may lack in ambience, it makes up for with its food and friendliness.

First and last time coming..disappointed ain't even good enough word for my review..had breakfast..country boy platter..ordered my eggs over easy..they were undone..country ham wasn't good..jus greasy..my country gravy was sweet..not for me...the one and only thing I enjoyed was the sausage..wife ordered the chocolate gravy it was watery and had an off taste....she enjoyed her bacon...prices were decent..staff was friendly..but that was the only good part..

What a wonderful little place. I loved everything about it. The staff made us feel like family. The dining area was simple and cozy. The menu surprised me with many options from corn nuggets to Ribeyes. Our food and service was excellent. It's a bit out of the way but you won't regret the few extra minutes to get there. It was like eating at grandma's.

I had the sea food platter. Wow, it was the best sea food I've had. The staff was friendly. The restaurant was clean and pleasant. The prices were very reasonable. I am traveling through the area so the only sad thing is that I can't eat there again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
