Bidrage med feedbackThe Germans and the French differ between a bread shop and a bakery. Bountiful Bread combines both PLUS a fantastic selection of soups and sandwiches for lunch, all freshened while waiting, not packed. A must-drop-in dinner if you're exhausted from shopping at Stuyvesant Plaza and looking for a break and a snack!
Bountiful bread is a beautiful soup and sandwich shop. They serve soup, sandwiches and pastries. The service was good, but they were secured to the service desk. That was Saturday afternoon. Overall, the experience was good. I met a group of friends here, we could sit together, talk and were not disturbed. A great experience and the food was good.
I've been going to Bountiful Bread for years and I've always loved it! But in recent months have been disappointed. Prices have risen, but quality has declined. A Caesar salad purchased with chicken (see photos) and charge $14 for a salad that does not even fill the container and has brown salad. Also a chicken pesto sandwich recently bought and noticed that a prefabricated was taken from the refrigerator. I asked him to be grilled, but it was still cold when I was in her a bit! I understand cooling for efficiency, but a grilled sandwich should not be cold.
Make your own sandwich is the best I get mozzarella, spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes and basil Pesto on marble rye and it was perfect. They make their own mozzarella and it's gross! My husband has the Sesame Salmon Bowl, he loves it every time, that's his way. The employee was polite, they were busy and it was for pickup so I remember ordering online next time. Food came in about 10-12 minutes and was worth every minute The food came in time and we loved it. Thanks for a delicious meal.
I love bountiful bread. My husband and I go here all the time. I have never had a bad meal here and the staff have always been amazing. I would highly suggest getting an everything cookie when you go. Though they are a meal in themselves since they are as big as a person's head. Lol
