Barbacoa Smokehouse Deli - Albany

This place is amazing! EVERYTHING is made from scratch (margarita, guacamole, chips.... . I had the taco salad with tinga chicken, and it was 10/10 delicious. My mom had the burrito special, and my siblings had tacos . Our cocktails were top notch too, I had a manhattan, but the margarita that my mom ordered was the BEST. Lee, our server was super friendly and we got to meet Doris the owner. You can tell she puts a lot of pride into her work. I honestly wasn't expecting much from this small town place, but it totally blew me away.

Great find in a small town! For some reason, BBQ smoked meats Mexican food handmade pizza deliciousness. Also, drinks made by a legitimate bartender who knows how to make a true margarita from scratch. Service: Dine in

So delicious! This place is such a gem of a find and I highly suggest to everyone when they ask about somewhere place to eat in Albany. I was never at Barbacoa before the remodel but the decor had a very cozy feel and I really like it. There is also an outdoor seating area with quite a few tables. Would be a great place for music. The smoked meat is so tasty and moist and great in tacos and quesadilla. Parking: There is a parking lot across the street that can be used.
