Bidrage med feedbackWhenever I am in Alaminos, I always look for good fast food options. Since Chowking reopened, I have been eating there almost every lunchtime. However, today on March 07, I encountered a staff member who provided subpar service. When I requested a glass of free water, he placed it on the top of the wall behind my chair instead of my table. When I asked the manager who served the water, he responded with "Hindi ko alam" (I don't know), to which I told him he should. They simply apologized, but it seemed like they used "sorry" as a catch-all response for all complaints and quickly moved on to the next customer. When a guest raises a concern, the management should handle it seriously. Their dismissive attitude made me feel even worse than the original issue itself.
There is a Chowking restaurant in Alaminos, but none in Lucap. The menu is typical of any Chowking; I particularly enjoy the Chowking Lauriat and Chorizo Fried Rice. The restaurant is big and can accommodate many customers. Alaminos is a typical mid-sized town with a large supermarket and a bustling main street.
The restaurant is bustling with customers, and it appears to have replaced Cindy's as the popular spot. The service is decent, and they serve typical Filipino chicken and rice dishes that the kids enjoy. Personally, I only had iced tea. I also tried the Halo-Halo, but it had too much ice and not enough evaporated milk, so it wasn't the best.
Chowking is one of those fast food joints that doesn't disappoint. We stopped here on our way to Hundred Islands. We were so hungry so we wanted to stop somewhere that's filling and is dependable. This restaurant was filled to capacity and the lines were...out the door. Luckily, tables clear up pretty quickly and the wait in line wasn't that long. Food came out pretty quickly as well. There's only one restroom here so make sure you go before you really have to go especially if you have kids. Food, like I mentioned, is good. Same as all the other Chowkings. It's not very far from Hundred Islands and it's on a main road with lots of parking.
Ive been 3 times in this food chain restaurant but still not getting in to my top choice. Chao fan has poor ingredients compared in the advertised pics.
