El Olmo - Alajuela Costa Rica

The restaurant offers generous portions for the price, with a lovely garden area and pool. The room decor may be a bit outdated, but it is equipped with everything you could possibly need, and the showers have excellent water pressure. The staff was fantastic, especially when our flight was canceled and we arrived at 2 o'clock in the morning. If you are landing late in San Jose or need a place close to the airport for an early departure, this hotel is perfect.

The hotel was really nice, I loved the open layout and the pool. the staff was also very nice and helpful. the breakfast was bad. it was very rubbery touch, toast, a cold/nacked piece cheese and a cold disc deli meat. it was $8 per person for this meal and if I had known that it would be $8 for a meal of this quality, I would not have paid the extra money for it. we couldn't even eat it. I really hope that they will improve the food, because in contrast to our stay was great

At the arrival the reception was anything but friendly and welcoming. it seemed like we didn't worry her. the room was nothing like pictures on the website and beyond the beds were anxious and .well the bathroom had an already used bar the seismic in the shower, and it melts like water.

We began our Costa Rica trip at this hotel, which was recommended by our native friends who always stay here when they travel. Although the rooms are basic, clean, and lovely, what we really loved was the cozy atmosphere created by the owners and staff. The garden was fantastic, with beautiful mango trees, flowers, and animals. Our children also had a great time here.

We stumbled upon this gem of a hotel near the airport after missing our flight. The hotel boasts a lovely garden and clean, spacious rooms. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was exceptional. Luiz, a knowledgeable employee, introduced us to the beautiful Garia Morada Orchid. It was a wonderful experience to learn about this exotic flower for the first time.
