Bláa Kannan - Akureyri

I came here when I was in Akureyri. Fantastic little cafe. I always got pie when I was here (pictured). This is a laid back place where the atmosphere is warm and cozy. Staff is friendly and all speak English for the Americans/British that visit. If you are out and about shopping or seeing the city, this is a great place to stop and have a coffee and read, especially if you have a sweet tooth.

Amazing cakes, good tea and wonderful hot chocolates. Nice place to sit and relax.

We ordered asparagous soup with bread and butter which was really delicious. We also get brunch with egg omelette, vegetable salad, pancakes, yougurt with granola, fresh fruit and orange juice. Good portions, good coffee, nice service.

Excellent mushroom soup. Nice coffee and many choices of cakes. Highly Recommend
