Pots Pans Jamaican Cuisine - Akron

First visit today and the food was delicious and plentiful! You get two meats, rice and peas and four additional sides. We had chicken curry and chicken frikasee, both tender and tasty with distinctly different sauces the curry a bit spicy and the other a bit sweet. I took more than half of my meal home. Too much for me in one sitting but I will be happy to enjoy it again as leftovers. Family owned and operated and everyone is extremely nice.

Ordered the chicken frikazee with rice and peas and it was fantastic! The quality of the food for the price is unbeatable and the plantains are the best I have ever had -How lucky we are in Akron for this new food option!

Irie mon! One bite and I felt like I was back in Jamaica! For years I've wondered why every ethnic cuisine is around except for Jamaican so I was over the moon when I saw the sign out front yesterday. Stopped in today and was not disappointed. SO MUCH FOOD for a reasonable price. I ate as much as I could and still had over 2 lbs. of food left. Granted, I don't eat a lot in one meal but this will last me for several more lunches. The jerk is good and spicy (mouth burning, head sweating...but oh so good! and the plantains are the best I've ever had. I'll be making lots of stops here. Can't wait to try all the other meats. The only other thing I could ask for would be some Jamaican Beef Patties on the menu for a quick grab-n-go lunch.

When I tell you they are the real deal...THE ARE THE TRUTH... I've been to Jamaica twice, lived in Florida for 5yrs and had theee best Jamaican food I've ever tasted Pots Pans Jamaican Cuisine brought me back to my happy place... Very authentic... If you never been to Jamaica or had Jamaica food I HIGHLY recommend them because believe me when I say... this is the closet you will ever get to good life...
