Bidrage med feedbackUpon entering we were greeted by friendly and courteous staff. And then things went south. Our waitress who clearly was not at her happiest greeted us fairly. Noticing the special was lamb bolognese I asked if I can try a sample before ordering; annoyedat this she indicated she would ask the chef, an understandable response. After a couple of minutes she came back to our tableand said ?I asked the Chef and he said no?. Well, ok then. So I went with the chicken parmesan, see picture below. This lookedand tasted like commissary food. The chicken was under a blanket of what appeared to be a slice of provolone cheese that hadbeen melted under a heat lamp. The sauce was very sweet. While the ambiance of this restaurant was ok, the exception was withthe table just up from us that clearly had too much to drink and decided it was ok to use extreme profanity when telling theirstory??.wait, maybe that?s it?.that is why the waitress was so distressed, nope, not her section.
We order 2 large salads, 2 large pans of lasagna, a large pan of sausage and peppers. It was very expensive. The salad was fine, the sausage was extremely dry, the lasagna was absolutely underwhelming. I would not ever order again. It was thin layersof noodles and cheese barley any sauce. Obviously the quality has gone down over the years. Do not waste your money.
The food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing. Our server was very friendly and attentive throughout our meal. We began with the smoked mozzarella and stuffed hot peppers, both of which were delicious. My husband ordered the fillet and I had the fettuccine Alfredo, both of which were perfect. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant. Although it was a 40-minute drive from our home, it was well worth it!
I ordered the prime rib and it was delicious. Although it's not usually my preference, I would still recommend it. The fried eggplant was also tasty, and the calamari was fresh. My drink was flavorful and well-made. Our server, Taylor, was very friendly, and the bus boy was also nice, although I didn't catch his name. There was plenty of parking available at the restaurant.
Amazing food and service! I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area, you won't be disappointed. We had Fried Calamari, a side salad with the famous house white French dressing, Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, and brownie with vanilla ice cream - everything was fantastic!
