Bidrage med feedbackI don't enjoy the food or service. The lamb does not order a taste other than a sight of the mint in the brown sauce that covers the meat, runny potatoes, again tasteless. The title says everything...
Enjoyed our meal. Service was great. Ate outdoors on the patio nice and quaint and clean. Will definitely go back. Convenient to the Malecon. Closes at 7:00pm
We dined here for the first time tonight and can now appreciate why it ranks so high on peoples' lists. The service was attentive, pleasant, informative and non-intrusive. The chicken saltimbocca was pure enjoyment. Tender, pounded chicken breasts with sage, capers, parmesan, mozzarella and prosciutto;...Italian comfort food. The chicken with two cheeses (parmesan and manchego) was also delicious. The deserts of brownie (could have been just a bit fudgier, rather than cake-style, but that's just our taste and a nit-pick) and crème brulee were also scrumptious. This will become a fast favorite. Although I've marked it as mid-range based on price, it is casual, comfortable fine dining.
I went to Cocinart with a large group of new Ajijic friends. The ambiance was lovely and peaceful, quiet and perfect for conversation. We all loved our meals, as well as the unusual juices and cocktails. Everyone was very impressed, and I think we will...all return at some point!
I went with a friend for a quick lunch, and when we shared with our waiter that we needed to be out the door fairly quickly, had our food brought to the table in a more than reasonable amount of time! We both had the...lamb burger, juicy and full of carmalized onions, mushrooms and goat cheese, with a side of tiny potatoes. For a drink we had the white wine/raspberries/icy eat it with a spoon amazing! I will be back!
