Sushi & Rolls - Ajax

The sushi was delicious! I ordered the salmon lovers combo for takeout. Yummy! Large pieces of sashimi and sushi, all very fresh. Tasty spicy salmon rolls. The meal came with miso soup and salad. Great food for a great price! I will definitely go back.

Amazing cucumber rolls, a new item which is really worth trying. Food is always fresh.The restaurant is clean, quaint and the service is excellent for both take out and dine in.

When we arrived at the restaurant, it was empty. We ordered sushi, but it took a long time to arrive and was not very tasty. A big group came in and we were neglected while they were served. After waiting for a long time, we decided to leave. The server didn't seem surprised and waved off our small bill, telling us not to worry about paying for our meal. We left feeling disappointed.

The sushi rolls were tasty, but the teriyaki beef was dry and chewy. The service was lacking and the restaurant was nearly empty during our early Saturday dinner. We ordered Bento Boxes and a few extra rolls, but overall, I would not recommend this place.

We were going there on a regular place since 10+ years. They used to be excellent in their old location. They moved a couple of years ago to a bigger location on the other side of the LCBO. From there on the quality of rhe food went downhill. The owner didn't prepare the rolls etc himself any longer and had constantly new chefs. You became like guinea pigs for these chefs. Instead of going there almost weekly we now went only 2 to 3 times a year. Last week after almost a year we thiught we try it again. What a disappointment. Food is still average but they pushed up the prices as well. The 2 of us always have the same for years including the drinks. We left the place paying at least 20$ more than what we used to pay. Conclusion: we will continue to go somewhere else
