Ajax Convention Centre

This venue was amazing! We used them for my husband’s 50th birthday party and the staff and venue was outstanding. The food and setup was great and our guests can’t stop raving about the night. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone having a special event.

We attended a toy show at this place. The facilities were clean and decor was modern. It is a good place for a small wedding. The parking was a little difficult. There were also hotels nearby.

We attended a meeting at the Ajax Conference centre on a cold evening in February. The centre has several rooms available to be booked and we were in a large room that was clean and well lit. It was a cold night and the heat was on low. Several of the attendees complained to the staff about being cold but it didn't seem like they adjusted the heat. There was only cold water to drink, I guess the event organizer would have had to pay more to get hot beverages served. We were directed to a coin operated machine in the hallway to get tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Some positives were that there was a lot of free parking and the decor was modern and fresh. The staff didn't strike me as overly friendly and was scarce, perhaps they all called in sick that night, it seemed understaffed and empty for a building that size. All in all it was a good place for the meeting and seats were comfortable and the A/V things seemed to work well so no hiccups to the presentation and our meeting.

We shared the place with a party for a 16 year old, our room was clean and well appointed, buffet food was excellent with also a roast-beef station, the service was removing dishes and refilling food very efficiently and with courtesy.

My new husband and I had our wedding reception at the Ajax Convention Center a few weeks ago! The staff helped us bring every little detail we envisioned for our wedding reception come to life. They worked hard to set everything up the way we imagined, and worked hard through the night to ensure that everything went smoothly. The wait staff and the bartenders were personable and fun, and the event coordinators helped ensure that everything went off without a hitch. Thank you to everyone involved for making our wedding dreams and visions become a reality!
