If you are looking for an air-conditioned reprieve from the summer heat of Provence, Riederer is your stop. Close to Place Hôtel d’Ville, this terrace offers a wide range of refreshing drinks and pastries. I enjoyed an icy mint tea, served in a...milk jug-style glass. The oversized raspberry macaron was amazing!

A hot day, time for a cup of tea and an orange juice. We went, sat down and relaxed. The food and other items in the store looked good, but we stood up against temptation.

I'm so glad there are two Riederers in Aix as this place is simply amazing. From gazing at the display to enjoying the actual pastries everything about this place is absolutely beautiful. Tea drinking in the afternoon is the best although any chance you get...to go there is great. The service could always be improved but I would ignore it for now. Relish in the experience, you won't find anything like it anytime soon!

We are always looking for the best eclairs in France. Riederer's are quite good. Everything in the displays is gorgeous and delicious. The multigrain bread is also very good.
