Columbus Cafe & Co Aix Masse

This is a good spot to go if you are in a pinch or need something to go. I have studied once or twice here and you get kicked off the internet after one hour. While I have never had a bad experience here, I have witnessed the staff raising their voices at those who walk in without ordering anything first. Perhaps if they do not want anyone to grab a table before lining up it should be advertised better. The food is just okay - it's definitely not as fresh as some other places that are close by. The muffins are pretty good though.

The coffee (cappuccino and one expresso) is not too bad but served in a paper cup. The staff in not really motivated and in general this place is not inspiring. There are better cafés is town!

I am a student in Aix en Provence and have visited Columbus quite frequently. It is the perfect location to grab a cup of coffee and a muffin before studying for an exam. Today I was treated horribly and was told to leave because we were studying. Again, I bought a cup of coffee and a muffin. I was STILL eating my muffin when I got asked to leave. She was extremely rude. If you plan to go, do not stay more than 15 minutes or you might get kicked out. Muffins are sub par and the coffee gets cold quick. Low quality establishment.

Went to the cafe with a group of friends and each of us ordered a drink (some food too). Went upstairs to study together and an hour in the saleslady came up and rudely told us to leave because their cafe is not a library and that we cannot spend the whole afternoon there (again we were only there an hour). We were surrounded by many groups who had been there before us and she did not say anything to them. She said this to us in french and at the end rudely asked if we understood. We have a few friends that have had this same experience at this cafe. I do not recommend coming here for any reason, the food is bad and so is the coffee.

I was wandering around in Aix on Sunday, with all the restaurants or cheap places closed and all the cafes opened in Mirabeau being too pricey. And i found this cafe which had set menu with reasonable price and okay food. There were lots of people working on there lap tops and books.
