Cafe Le Forbin - Aix-en-Provence

I had a terrible experience with rude waiters. If I had good food there honestly I would forget the terrible customer service but it was as bad as the service. So I’m not wasting my time on naming details. Just saying, there are so many good restaurants in this beautiful town, just somewhere else.

Best pizza i have ever eaten in france definitely worth the price excellent crust and really great ingredients definitely recommend

Just had lunch here! Cant recommend enough! Food was tremendous and staff were so friendly and nice. Highly recommend!

I had planned to have a light meal here before going to an opera performance at the Aix Festival as this place is only a few minutes walk from the Theatre du Jeu du Paum. Despite the fact that the restaurant only had a few customers I waited 20 minutes before the waitress came to my table by which time it was clear that I would not have time for meal so I ordered a cocktail which took another 10 minutes to arrive. Paying the bill also took an age so I won't be going back there again despite it's pleasant location.

My daughter, 17 years old, arrived to this location for lunch. Student of French this summer was told to shift to English because of her bad French language - she is B1 - and when ordered Cesar Salad in English and pointed out with her finger in the menu card she received a pasta one 5€ more expensive. She claims that is not what she ordered, answer given is: this is what happens when you do not speak well. She says she is not eating what she didn't order and the answer is: you immigrants go to you countries, eat it or not but pay or I'll call the police. To finish when the payment moment comes waitress put hand in front of my daughter's face and say I don't want to hear you because you don't know how to speak French nor English - she is Taking CAE in English in September. Unfortunate location. Foreigners seems not to be welcome. Bad location, unpleasant and a bad experience.
