Fishes Loaves - AIREYS INLET

As travellers and newbies to fish and chips, we asked for recommendations and the staff were patient in explaining the variety of fish on the menu! Ended up getting an assortment to share (personally love the butterfish and flake), and the calamari is a must try!

Perfect! Veggie burgers were so delicious with yummy beetroot relish and caramelised onions in fancy bun! The chips were hot, chunky and fresh with a golden crunch and squishy potato inside....so good. The tartar sauce was the best we 've had at a fish and chip shop tasted so fresh. Minimum chips the perfect amount. Quick service and some outside seating too. 1000 times better than the Lorne 'Salty Dog ' shop. You should eat here! Also, visit the cliff lookout up next to the lighthouse nearby after your meal.

Unfortunately fish and chips shops have sometimes been known to have long waiting lines/not friendly staff but this fish and chips shop would wipe out all those bad memories you might have experienced in the past. Really friendly staff and very efficient kitchen. Order was ready within 10 minutes even though they were getting busy with more hungry visitors ready to smash some battered fish. We ordered a few calamaris as well and it was ACTUALLY not rubbery at all. It was perfectly cooked with a good amount of batter. Prices are decent. Would recommend this place.

Spicy prawn tacos ....the best I've tasted... highly recommend. Also got a couple of pieces of calamari and a scallop...they were lovely, but I was way too full with the spicy prawn tacos. Definitely one of the best fish and chips shops on GOR....I tried a couple, and have been so disappointed.

The fish is fresh is amazing. Best fish and chips I’ve ever had.
