Mcdonald's - Airdrie

He made a quick stop at this mcdonald for a coffee and nothing else. No one was in there and the kitchen was full of personal. I had to fly someone to command him, they took him and completely disappeared. after ten minutes waiting time, there was still no sign of employees that my order was filled, although the order number was present on the screen. after fifteen minutes waiting time I finally got my drink for something that usually takes seconds. that was not too impressed.

Having worked at this restaurant for ____ year(s), I cannot express enough how dissatisfied each manager here is (excluding Ilona who is cool). The working environment is terrible and often requires employees to take on the roles of 2 or 3 other people. The management is consistently incompetent and there is a high turnover rate of 90%. Additionally, uniforms are issued without prior notification and procedures are constantly changing last minute without warning. The quality of the food is also subpar.

I would give zero stars if I could. This restaurant has the worst management I have ever encountered. Every time I have visited, the manager and experienced staff members seem to care more about causing trouble than anything else, including their coworkers. Each time I have been there, there have been nothing but upset customers, disrespectful management, and inexperienced young employees. To make matters worse, when I have complained to the company, they claim to be training new staff, but I always see the same individuals there.

I went through the drive-thru and ordered a strawberry banana smoothie, along with other items in my meal. I was told to wait in the next line while they cleaned the smoothie machine. After waiting for almost 10 minutes, I received a blueberry smoothie instead. The long wait made it hard to enjoy the drink properly. This kind of situation is unacceptable and left me very disappointed.

It's hard to give any fast food drive-thru a high rating if you go there frequently. I say this because even if most of your experiences are good, there will always be the odd time where the experience isn't so good. This is one of those drive-thrus. I can only speak for late night service, between 11pm and 3am. I don't know what goes on here during the day. However, the vast majority of my experience at this location is that the staff are friendly (mostly), the service is great (mostly) and the food is fresh (mostly). Freshness of food is important to me at a drive-thru. To me nothing is more disappointing than waiting a drive-thru for 15 minutes then finding that your food is old and barely edible. It's like, why didn't I just go home and cook myself a meal? This location has never made me feel this disappointed. Most often it's super fresh! Again, I can only speak for the late night service but with this in mind, I definitely recommend this location!
