Bidrage med feedbackI was surprised by the small size of this restaurant when I visited on a Sunday around 1:30pm. All tables were occupied, so I explored other nearby restaurants. However, my craving for Filipino food led me back to this place. I ordered the Ginataang Sitaw with Kalabasa Shrimp, which was delicious but didn't quite match up to my wife's version (lol). For dessert, I tried the Cheesecake Flan. The prices were reasonable overall, but I do think they need a larger space to accommodate their loyal customers. AAA
The restaurant serves authentic Filipino cuisine. We ordered goto (rice porridge) and it was delicious! The tokwat baboy was also good. The lomi was average. The service was okay and the restaurant is quite small. Overall, it was not a bad experience. We especially loved their merienda-style menu.
I absolutely loved this restaurant. I heard that it is now under new management, operated by the previous owner of Barrio Fiesta. I decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised by the cozy atmosphere. We were seated promptly and even offered the option to use the Karaoke while waiting, which was a nice touch. Although there was a bit of a wait, the food was definitely worth it. The krispy pata was delicious, but the real standout dish was the Kare-kare, the best I've had at any Filipino restaurant. The SILOGs were also fantastic. I found the prices reasonable considering the quality of the dishes. The tokwat baboy was spot on, and the sisig was top-notch. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.
Some of the standout dishes at Chopstix include the Bangus with rice, Halo Halo, Leche Flan, and the famous Crispy Pata. Overall, Chopstix is a great spot to enjoy delicious Filipino cuisine in a welcoming environment.
Great Filipino cuisine. The food is authentic and delicious, especially the Crispy Pata with a spicy kick. The 'Chopstix Special' is a must-try dish worth traveling for. The owner is friendly and takes orders personally. The atmosphere is lively with free karaoke and good singers. Overall, a fun and intimate dining experience not easily found in the city.
