Average pubic food with average prices. waitresses were very nice. I've filled the place, but nothing I'd find out of my way.

We've been going to the Kaslo Hotel restaurant for years now, and it's always very good. The fish and chips is one of our favorites

Although only in the area every 3 years or so, its always a regular stop for dinner! They have the best Fish and Chips I have had outside of London, and service is always friendly and efficient. They are not open every day so pay...attention to current schedule. The Fish and Chips come with either Cod or Halibut. I ordered a combination as both are delightful. There is a bar attached that also sells things to go.

We had a party with thirteen children. they have accommodated us without problems. the drinks came fast and the food was quickly served. everyone had something else and that loved it all. the Caesar salad was a hit. a court (my steak) was obviously not...right and the waitress started it before it left the kitchen. they brought a free beer and a bowl roasted flower cauliflower soup (amuse creamy chowder consistency, one of the best suppening I ever had). she promised that it would be worth waiting and she was right. While I demanded a medium rare new york steak, this was rarely served, but it was perfectly seasoned and amazingly tasteful.

Excellent and friendly service (Marie, you were wonderful! , huge portions of very good food, incredibly inexpensive! Doesn't look too compelling from the road, but it's warm wood and fishing themed interior is perfect!
