Great place. It 's legit Mexican food. Service isn 't perfect, no one is. But, the staff is quick to fix their mistake. To the people saying They 're racist! How do YOU treat the staff? Remember, treat someone how they want to be treated!

My wife and I went to Plata to have some tacos on taco tuesday. We had a great time the food was delicious I had tacos my wife had a happy hour tostada which was quite substantial and very good. The tacos were delicious they have about five or six different kinds of tacos that you can get. Are bartender/server Julio was very good he was attentive and had a good personality. We have been there before and will be back again

I love the ambiente and the mood here. margaritas are very tasty, but not very strong, so they can need an additional shot depending on their preference. the chips are delicious really delicious. eating is very authentic and tasteful. Tasteful and healthy! overall an excellent experience. they have found out that they can even pick up margaritas and chips and salsa to have home for a event! cannot wait to bring other friends to plata!

Surprisingly busy for Tuesday at 5:30p. Beautiful festive atmosphere while being authentic to the region. I LOVED the Jamaica margarita. Food was delicious and attractively displayed. I’ll be back.
