Bidrage med feedbackThe queue for hot food and the exhausted and super animated staff quickly convinced us that we didn't want or need to put ourselves through that experience! So, we went to the other counter, ordered some coffees, some arancini and some other small hot food items. The staff here were also very busy and very fast acting, unnecessarily so in fact. A degree of calmness would go a long way and would be in everyones interests. Good coffee, polite staff clearing the tables. Very poor toilet set up, not helped by many patrons leaving the entrance door to the dining area open! 3 cubicles, one each for men, women and the disabled. Coffee was €2, as were the small items of hot reheated (microwaved) food. O.K. for a pit stop, just don't expect too much.
After a very enjoyable afternoon of shopping in the wonderful designer outlet we decided to get something cold to refresh us before returning to the insanely hot car which had been baking in the sun all afternoon. I sat down in the seating area and my wife duly joined the queue to select some gelato for us. The waitress who was working behind the counter served the 2 Italian gentlemen in front of my wife and she then turned her attention to the Italian couple who were standing behind my shocked spouse and took their order instead. She has learned quite a bit of Italian prior to this trip so is very comfortable ordering meals (not that she had a chance to speak), Etc and is always careful to use the correct greetings and pleasantries. I am baffled as to why the waitress would demonstrate such blatant bad manners, perhaps she just did not like the look of us, in all a terrible advert for this cafe. My recommendation would be to walk along a few doors to Synbio Food where they smiled, greeted us and served a delicious Gelato for a very reasonable price.
