Adi Shankar - Agartala

If you are a foodie you must try this hotel. The hotel established 30 years back by a man named Shankar. After his death his four son now run the bussiness. If you love authentic bengali food this is a must visit destination for you.

A very old and renowned restaurant. Can ge the best of Bengali traditional food. However the sitting is cramped and crowded Ac sometimes works sometimes doesn't. More of a corporate crowd

Awesome food specially misti doi and hilsa. But price lil bit high for hilsa.they charge 600 for only 1pc hilsa. Rest is good.

Awesome mouth watering dishes, one can relish savor the authentic abengali dishes at this hotel. Except the prices are a bit on the higher side.

Great place to eat authentic Bengali food. It is not air conditioned. There are several restaurants of the same name in this line...I tried the second one. Food was very nice and staff was very cordial. All the Bengali items were served in good quantity. Price is little high but so are at most places in Agartala.
