Seemed quiet a little nervous entering here. Food was excellent and staff very friendly. Best food in city

It is definitely a lot more welcoming with its refurbishment. It looks far more open and less gloomy. The service has also improved with welcoming smiles and thankyous on departure. I had the southern chicken and while the serving size is great it was a little too spicy and herby. I would still stop by for another visit though

Dark, dank and dingy. Food is fairly good. Sometimes that’s what you want from a pub. Toilets are a bit of a walk though...pity. —— December 2019 update. Stopped by with the kids and have to say they have decent sized kids meals. Food is pretty good here. Also have improved draft beer selection and customer/bar service was great. Love that carlsberg. Upgraded from 3 to 4 stars.
