Bidrage med feedback• Mandoo’s interior design makes me feel like I’m in Korea. When I came around 1pm , the restaurant was fully occupied, which made this small space even cosier. Although the menu only has a few dishes, steamed dumplings and bibimbap are definitely worth a try. <br/ • I ordered a portion of steam dumplings half kimchi, half vegetables $17 and bibimbap $16 . The steamed dumplings 만 두mandoo in Korean are very delicious. The wrapper is thin, whereas the fillings are generously packed with meat and cabbages, etc. Also, their soy sauce goes really well with the dumplings. I especially love the kimchi dumplings. <br/ • Bibimbap: It has lots of ingredients beef, eggs, bean sprouts, etc. . There are also a complimentary jar of pickles and a bowl of soup. My friend kept eating the pickles so I assumed it must be good right? Also, the soup is a bit salty, it’s probably because I did not have it while it was still warm. <br/ #shotoniphonex#uyeneatandplaynotebook#kimchi#mandoo#koreanfoodlover#koreanfood#bibimbap#eatadelaide #melbournefoodblogger#zomatoaus
Just the best dumplings in Australia I have ever had. Even the place was crowded, the staff were still friendly and helpful. Do not miss this one when you are around Adelaide
Dumplings. So. Good!<br/ We ordered their dumpling soup (comes with 6 dumplings or so.. and a plate of fried chicken dumplings. It was a #mandoo feast <br/ <br/ The mandoo in soup were just the right texture. Generous filling, really nice dumpling skin, tasty broth and rice cakes.<br/ <br/ The fried mandoo though were stunner. Almost a hint of sweetness on the outside, just the right level of chewiness and generous dose of yummy chicken. They provide this complimentary soy chilli condiment and pickles which I believe is a must for every customer. You can't miss out on this chilli condiment!<br/ <br/ Service: 4/5<br/ Decor: 3/5 (yeah it's small but honestly I don't mind. good service food #ftw <br/ Food: 4.5/5 (best mandoo I've had so far
This place is so busy and I understand why. You have to queue up especially during lunch break. Eventhough, it is such a small place the turnover is pretty quick. Because of the size of the place and how busy it is unfortunately, you can't have a good catch up with friends if you want to dine here. I had opted for the fried dumplings and the beef Bibimbap. The portions are huge. The pickled that comes with the dumplings is so amazing.
Little gem tucked away in bank street. Pretty friendly service. Huge dumpling portions. Would definitely come back here and eat again. Just wish they had more tables and space.
