FB's - Adelaide

In my opinion the burgers here are better than Burger Theory, but the chips are too salty for my liking. I do like the outside sitting area and the food comes out reasonably quick which is great. Overall it's good, but not great.

Burger quality has dropped recently. Went in craving a good burger which I used to associate Fancy Burger with. From the first bite it was just disappointing and not the flavour I am used to. Asked the Manger on duty if they changed the meat patties they use in their burgers and to no surprise they had. So sadly FB's aren't as good as they used to be. Please bring back the old meat patties you used to use.

We came into fancy burgers after hearing some good reviews; we walked in and were greeted straight away and offered some menus. Looking at all the selections the Lamb burger caught our eye. We had them with a pickle added. The burgers came out bout 10 minutes later. On the menu there was a choice of brioche bun or seeded wholemeal. Unfortunately were not asked when taking our order which we would prefer and we got toasted wholemeal which with a burger brioche is always preferred! The lamb was very nice and tender; and the flavours was nice. The chips were seasoned with salt and rosemary great combination. The only let down was the bun.

This place has great staffers and amazing Tru Blu sandwich! I always love their chips with the smoked chili mayo dipping. The burger breads are kinda dry though.

Dropped by as I was craving some chips the other day. I ordered normal chips and sweet potato chips. Unfortunately both were disappointing. The sweet potato chips came lukewarm and were cut a lot thinner than their potato chip. Taste-wise they were pretty good, but they were not crispy at all. The potato chips on the other hand were much crispier/crunchier but were under seasoned. They were rather bland and definitely needed dipping sauce for extra flavour. The sauces I tried were the herby mayo and tomato relish. Both were OK, nothing to shout about. I'll probably come back to try their burgers some day.
